About PolicyBoard
PolicyBoard is a policy review tracking tool for regulated UK organisations. It replaces spreadsheet-based policy registers with a central dashboard, automated email reminders, and an approval workflow — so governance officers, school business managers, and practice managers always know which policies are current, which are due for review, and which have expired.
Who it's for
PolicyBoard is designed for small-to-mid UK organisations (50–500 staff) that must maintain policy libraries for regulatory compliance:
- Schools and multi-academy trusts (Ofsted statutory policies)
- GP practices (CQC Regulation 17)
- Small councils (audit and governance obligations)
- Charities (Charity Commission governance code)
- Housing associations (regulatory standards)
Why it exists
Regulated organisations accumulate hundreds of policies that need periodic review. CQC Regulation 17 breaches cite outdated policies. Ofsted inspectors check safeguarding policies for currency. Yet most organisations still track review dates in spreadsheets or document footers — no automated reminders, no approval trail, no compliance dashboard. The problem surfaces at inspection, when it's too late to fix.
PolicyBoard exists to close that gap with a simple, standalone tool that doesn't require SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or enterprise IT infrastructure.

PolicyBoard is a product of Crocker Digital Ltd (Company No. 17008789), a UK software company building tools for regulated sectors. We identified that organisations across multiple sectors — schools, GP practices, councils, charities — face the same core problem with policy review tracking, but existing tools are either enterprise-priced, sector-specific, or SharePoint-dependent.
